Review Management

More reviews.
Better reviews. Automatically.

Your review count is the first thing a homeowner sees when they search. Contractors with 150+ reviews at 4.8 stars beat contractors with 15 reviews at 5 stars, every time. We build the system that gets you there, without asking your crew to do anything new.

What it is

Why reviews matter more than anything.

97% of consumers read reviews before choosing a home service business. 31% will not even consider a business with under 4.5 stars. Your review count and rating are the two biggest factors in whether a homeowner calls you or your competitor.

Most contractors know this but still do not ask for reviews. The job finishes, the invoice gets paid, and by the next day no one is thinking about the review. The homeowner was happy but never gets around to writing it.

The system is simple: after every completed job, a text message goes out to the customer with a direct link to leave a Google review. One tap, five stars, done. No app to download, no form to fill out. That is the whole thing, and it works.

What we deliver

What we actually do.

01

Automated review request setup

SMS and email review requests triggered automatically after every completed job. Integrates with your CRM, scheduling software, or invoice tool. Zero effort from your team once it is running.

02

Direct Google review links

The review link goes directly to your Google Business Profile review form, one tap away from five stars. No intermediate landing pages, no friction, no drop-off.

03

Review response management

Every review (positive and negative) gets a response within 24 hours. We draft responses, you approve or edit, and they post. Google specifically rewards businesses that respond to reviews.

04

Negative review handling

Bad reviews happen. When they do, we respond professionally, work with you to reach out to the customer privately, and where appropriate, escalate to Google for removal if the review violates their policies.

05

Review velocity tracking

Google cares about how often you get new reviews, not just how many you have total. We track your review velocity (reviews per month) and make sure it stays consistent, because a sudden burst of reviews can trigger spam filters.

06

Monthly review report

New reviews this month, current rating, rating trend, velocity, and how you compare to competitors. Short and plain-English, with any reviews that need your attention flagged.

Who this is for

Every home service business benefits from review management, but the impact is biggest for trades with long purchase research (roofing, HVAC replacement, full remodels) where homeowners read lots of reviews before committing.

What to expect

How the review count grows.

Review growth depends on your job volume. A business doing 50 jobs a month with a 25% review response rate adds 12+ reviews a month. Here is the realistic pattern.

Months 1-2

System goes live. First automated requests start firing after completed jobs. Response rate during the first weeks is typically 20-30% as customers get used to the request. Review count starts climbing steadily.

Months 3-6

Velocity picks up. Your Google profile starts accumulating reviews faster than competitors who are not asking. Rating stabilizes (usually in the 4.7-4.9 range). Google starts noticing the velocity and ranking improves.

Months 6-12

Compounding effect. Your review count crosses the threshold where homeowners instantly trust the profile. Cost per lead from Google drops because homeowners are choosing you in the Map Pack. LSA ranking (if you run it) improves alongside.

Pricing

Part of both monthly tiers

$500/mo starting

Review generation and response management are core parts of both tiers: Organic ($500/mo) and Full Service ($1,500/mo). Every monthly client gets automated review requests after every job, plus response management within 24 hours.

Not sold standalone. Review management is most effective when combined with GBP management and Local SEO, which is why they are bundled into both tiers. Start with Organic if you are not ready for paid ads yet.

Common questions

Questions before we talk.

Is it legal to ask for reviews?

Yes. Google explicitly encourages asking for reviews. What is not allowed is filtering (only asking customers you think will leave positive reviews) or offering incentives in exchange for reviews. We ask every customer after every job, which is compliant with Google policy.

What if customers do not text back or click the link?

Not every customer will leave a review. Industry average is 10-20% response rate. With a well-built system and timing, we typically hit 25-35%. If you do 50 jobs a month and we hit 30%, that is 15 new reviews a month. Over a year, 180 new reviews.

What happens when we get a bad review?

We respond professionally within 24 hours. The response acknowledges the issue, takes responsibility where appropriate, and invites the customer to reach out privately to resolve. If the review violates Google policy (fake, contains profanity, clearly not a real customer), we escalate to Google for removal.

Can we filter which customers get review requests?

No, and we actively recommend against it. Google has algorithms that detect review filtering, and profiles that appear to only ask happy customers get penalized. We ask every customer. Your rating over time is an accurate reflection of your actual work, which is how it should be.

Does this work with my scheduling software?

Most of the time, yes. We integrate with common home service CRMs like ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, and Workiz, as well as with Stripe, QuickBooks, and basic spreadsheet-based systems. If you use something unusual, we find a way to make it work.

What if I want to offer an incentive for reviews?

Do not. Google has strict policies against incentivizing reviews, and violating them can get your entire profile suspended. If you want to reward customers, reward them for the job (loyalty discount on next service, referral credit), not for leaving a review.
