Web Design
A website built to
book jobs.
Most home service websites are brochures. Pretty but useless for generating calls. We build fast, mobile-first sites engineered around one goal: turning visitors into booked jobs. Service pages, service-area pages, schema, and a speed-to-lead Twilio flow included.
What it is
What a home service website should actually do.
A home service website is not a portfolio. It is not a brochure. It is a conversion tool. Its job is to turn a homeowner who searched on Google into a phone call or form submission, as fast as possible.
Most websites fail at this. They load slowly. They are hard to read on a phone. They bury the phone number. They have generic "About Us" pages nobody reads. They have no schema markup, so Google struggles to rank them. They have no service-area pages, so they do not show up in nearby cities.
We build the opposite. A site that loads in under 2 seconds. Mobile-optimized because 70% of your traffic is on a phone. A big phone number at the top of every page. A form that takes 15 seconds to fill out. Dedicated pages for every service and every city. Schema markup that helps Google understand your business. And a speed-to-lead flow that alerts you the moment a lead comes in.
What we deliver
What is in the build.
Service pages for every service you offer
Dedicated, SEO-optimized pages for each service (plumbing repair, water heater replacement, drain cleaning, etc.) with schema markup, proper headers, and conversion elements.
Service-area pages for every city you serve
Individual pages for each town or neighborhood you cover. These are how you show up in "plumber in [city]" searches, including cities where your office is not physically located.
Speed-to-lead Twilio integration
When a lead fills out a form, an SMS is sent to your phone within 60 seconds with their name, number, and service request. The customer also gets an auto-confirmation. Speed to first contact is the single biggest driver of close rate.
Core Web Vitals optimized
Under 2 second load times, 100/100 mobile performance targets. Google explicitly uses page speed as a ranking factor, and slow sites leak traffic.
Schema markup built in
LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, and BreadcrumbList schema on every relevant page. Helps Google understand your business and improves eligibility for rich results.
Bilingual if your market needs it
Full English and Spanish site with proper hreflang tags, separate URLs, and native Spanish copy (not auto-translated). Included when your market warrants it.
Who this is for
Any home service business that needs a website that actually works β whether you have no site at all, an outdated WordPress build, or a "free" site your Angi representative set up that nobody can find on Google.
What to expect
From kickoff to live.
Most builds ship in 3-4 weeks. Complex sites with more service areas or deep content take longer. Here is the typical flow.
Week 1
Kickoff call, content gathering, photos and branding collected. Wireframes and copy drafts delivered by end of week. You review and request changes.
Weeks 2-3
Full build. All service pages, service-area pages, forms, Twilio integration, schema markup. Site built on a staging URL you can review. Two rounds of revisions included.
Week 4
Final QA, DNS cutover, live launch. Speed-to-lead tested end-to-end. Google Business Profile updated to point at the new site. Submitted to Google for indexing.

Common questions
Questions before we talk.
How is this different from a Squarespace or Wix site?
Squarespace and Wix are fine for a simple portfolio or blog. They are not built for home service conversion or local SEO. They load slower, have limited schema support, and the SEO tooling is basic. Our builds are custom-coded on Astro (modern static site generator) for speed, and every SEO detail is handled manually, not by a plugin.
Do you do redesigns, or only new builds?
Both. Most of our builds are redesigns of existing sites. We take what works, fix what does not, rebuild from scratch on modern infrastructure, and migrate your content. Usually results in a 2-3x improvement in load speed and measurable ranking improvements within 90 days.
Who owns the site?
You do. The code lives in a GitHub repo under your name. Hosting is on Netlify under your account. Domain is under your name. If you ever want to leave, you take everything with you. No proprietary CMS lock-in.
What about hosting and maintenance?
Hosting on Netlify typically costs $0-$20/month depending on traffic. Very low compared to WordPress hosting. Maintenance (content updates, new pages, adjustments) is included if you are on a monthly retainer (Organic or Full Service) with the Site Upkeep add-on. Standalone builds include 30 days of minor tweaks after launch. Beyond that, billable hourly.
Can I add blog posts later?
Yes. The site is set up to support blog posts for SEO content, case studies, seasonal guides (like "how to winterize your pipes"). Blog content is included for Foundation retainer clients. For standalone builds, blog post writing is a separate engagement.
Why no e-commerce or booking integrations?
For most home service businesses, we strongly recommend phone-first conversion over online booking. Homeowners want to talk to a human before hiring a roofer or plumber. Online booking for home services typically converts at a fraction of phone calls. If you specifically need online booking for a service that supports it (like cleaning), we can integrate with Jobber, Housecall Pro, or similar.
Ready for a site that actually books jobs?
Book a 30-minute call. We will audit your current site (if you have one), show you what is leaking traffic, and give you a straight answer on whether a rebuild makes sense.
